wheels and tyres

I have just bought some 19" wheels for my 02 SL500. 8.5" fronts and 9.5" rears. Has anyone on here done this with their car as I want to get the best tyre combination that will look right and fill the arches?

l have 19" wheels on my SL55 AMG and the tyre sizes are:

255/35 x 19 Front
285/30 x 19 Rear

As CycleSi says, a further note, the tyres have to have 30 and 35 aspect ratios
or they contact with parts of the suspension.
Michelin pilot sports are a good choice.
