I have a friend who has the above car that she wants to sell and has asked me to help with the process; thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone has any suggestions on where is the best place to sell it? I don't have the full info yet but apparently her late husband spent some money having it refurbed a while back but I've glanced at it and can see some rust bubbles in places and some algae as it's been sat outside unused for quite some time. My first thoughts were to give it a tidy and hope for the best on Ebay, but her son put the details into webuyanycar and it apparently came up with £1375....sounds like a good price to me for something that almost certainly doesn't have any tax/mot and probably a patchy history at best?

From the feedback in general gassing about WBAC, I think it's highly likely that when you turn up for your £1375, you will be disappointed. They will probably offer you much less for it once it has been appraised in the flesh. The W126 has a good following, I think your first instinct or the PH classifieds would be the way to go, just be as honest as possible with your description. Best of luck!

To be honest, a W126 without tax or MOT and little or no service history is only going to be worth a few hundred pounds these days. Best bet might be to give it a good clean and try to get it MOT'd if you think it will pass easily enough.

I'd try to sell it on Gumtree and ebay as well as PH.

Thanks for the suggestions; seems like my original instinct was correct.
