C32 AMG Engine Management System

Hi all

I have a C32 AMG Saloon 2002 model

Lovely car but just had the Engine Management System light come up this morning after the car struggled to start!

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be before I try to locate a Merc specialist?

More importantly, does anyone know any Merc specialists in East London?

Any useful info about the problem and the car would be much appreciated

Get yourself a cheap EOBD scanner, plenty of them on ebay. Read the code and post it on here. That will help us point you in the right direction.

I've now dropped the car off to the specialist in Bexleyheath and he has confirmed the problem is the air pump, what are the likely costs? He advised me that a new one costs about £480 inc vat plus his charge!

Any information anyone has would help
