Would be interested as that's near me, but not quite that smart ;>

It is a bit of a drive but a lot of people (myself included and I am in NW8) go to Olly at www.prestigecarservice.co.uk.

I would recommend him without hesitation. A lot of MB Club members use him and some travel a lot further than me.

You can spend the day in Portsmouth while the car is being serviced then back to London.

He is a specialist (Mercedes trained), and I would say, probably one of the best in the country.

Depends what you want really - it is an easy drive down and he knows exactly what he is doing; his prices are excellent and work is second to none.

People travel a lot further than London to use him so that speaks volumes.

These guys do a cracking job on our cars and will carry out an MB spec service at the location of your choosing (within reason). Berkshire base so would imagine they'd come to you.

I live near chelsea and used the local MB dealer only once (last year) - was met with rude and absuive staff and had to return the car three times for a fault that was only finally addressed by a well regarded indy. On the positive side I took my complaint up with MB Head office in Europe and they were excellent in dealing with it.

If you trawl around the various MB forums you will find others who have similar experiences with chelsea, I now use the professionals at MBS down in Southampton - bit of a trek but totally worth it and cannot sing their praises enough!
