MB-2 Bluetooth adapter

Have put off up-grading phone due to fitted phone cradle.
However, just seen bluetooth adapter (by Viseeo) which should fit in to UHI connector (once cradle removed).

Not cheap, but portable to another / next vehicle, and if it's really able to connect to multiple handsets, would solve another issue.

Anybody had experience of this, or similar product.
Phone prep factory fit / 06 plate / no command.

I have one and it works well.
It can connect to multiple handsets, only the address book from connected handsets will show.
Make sure your phone has SAP though.

Hi, i have just purchased a Mercedes HFP bluetooth cradle - this was the one advised for my iphone - lets you view your contacts on the dashboard. I believe the SAP version is for SAP enabled phones? Mercedes ( genuine parts ) do 2 bluetooth versions - the HFP and the Sap.
I am very impressed with mine - all synced quickly and easily ( although, have to confess the chap who sold it to me did this for me .
There is a good website for info on these systems - www.comandonline.co.uk Ebay is a good place to look for cradles, just search - mercedes phone cradle - and as you will see, these cradles are quite sought after, so they tend to fetch £100+ secondhand!

Just do your research and make sure you you get the right one for your handset.

P.s. i also believe you can use the Mercedes SAP version as a handset - just insert a sim card into it

Make sure if you buy secondhand, you get the instructions/user guide booklet with the HFP adapter (B67875877) - this contains your PIN number and is needed to pair your device

HFP (B67875877) are the best as long as you dont have an N series nokia as the dont work with them. HFP are simple to set up just hold down the button on the HFP till a blue ligh flashes then search for it on your mobile like you would if you were sending something bluetooth to a friends phone, The phone should find MB phone systems enter onto that enter code 62872 , hay presto. good piece of kit but pricey. O an the code 62872 is the same for all HFP bluetooths

I have an HFP Bluetooth cradle and a BlackBerry 9000 Bold and all works perfectly - connects as soon as car unlocked, contacts display on screen within 40-50 seconds, sound quality both ways very good.

I bought a Viseeo MB-2 last week, having found a company in Dundee selling them for £150 which I thought was pretty good.

It took me all of ten minutes to 'install' in a 55 plate C Class (W203).

I've got all the steering wheel button functionality, plus 'phone display in the instrument panel.

It even counts and records missed calls....

I now have the benefit of flexibility to connect to any BT 'phone without having to purchase a new cradle.

The only downside is that without a cradle dedicated to the 'phone I still need a power cord from the lighter socket to keep its battery topped up.

From my point of view the MB-2 is a terrific product and well worth the money.

The standard caveat applies: No connection (besides the 'phone), just a very satisifed customer,

Purchased MB-2 last week.
Coundn't match the £150 mentioned, but managed £160 - still below original search results.
Only 10 minutes set up - almost plug and play.
Great that all the steering wheel functions work.
And with auto connect, it couldn't be easier.
