New user and looking for a W124 E320 Sportline

Hi,

I'm new to the forum but have been looking at some useful threads on hear for a while now.

I've been reading up on the W124 on here and the honest John website. I've currently got a W126 560 SEL which is great but the Mrs hates driving it due to the size (supermarket car parks, what more can I say!)

Anyway the car is about to be sold to a mate of mine so I'm after a W124 E320 Sportline coupe. Ive been looking on here, ebay etc but if any of you know of one please let me know. Dark metallic preferable over Silver.

You might want to check out Nick Froome at www.124.co.uk - if you want a really nice car and have the appropriate budget. Appears on PH as 'bolide'.
It may sound like a few £, but I saw a similar car through John Weir in Perth the other week, snapped up for the same money. I see ccbenz have one as well - much more £ (enough difference to buy a cheap runaround and keep the C124 for best).
I only wish I had a big enough garage to get an extra car in myself.

Thanks for the info. Nick did send me some info on the car he has but my budget is around £4k. I appreciate it is a nice one but cant afford it I'm afraid.

I have a 1992 300ce that will be going up for sale soon, Blue with mushroom leather, sportline chassis and amg alloys. great car, no longer needed and cannot see it sat at home. Just had a new mot today, and it went through first time.
