My wife has had a 2003 CLK500 for a while now.
Things that have needed attention:
Electric seat adjusters, various motors - check the memory positions on the door, check the "easy access" works (wheel goes up and seat goes back when remove key + opposite when insert key obviously. Also check headrests up/down cos if this goes wrong you can end up with seat caught on sunvisor (speaking from experience here!).
High Level brake light (built into boot lid) broke off it's mounts and fell into boot.
Boot catch (electrical) stopped working, so boot wouldn't latch - open the boot with the handle and listen for the whirring sound if it's working correctly. Open and shut several times and check it latches every time.
Catalytic Converters - had to replace one at 13K miles (outside of warranty, very low mileage car) - it started to rattle as it broke up.
Electric Roof. It's been into Jackson's in Poole 4 times to replace various sensors etc, fingers crossed it's worked for almost a year now! - it just doesn't attempt to open when faulty.
Airbag warning lights - apparently this fault was caused by a bottle of water rolling under the seat.
On the plus side, it's lovely to drive and haven't had any (fingers crossed) serious mechanical problems.

I would verify the print out, very easy to fake if it is a backstreet dealer. Also front suspension work could be anything and soon adds up. Don't fall for the "oh its only a few bushes we will sort that out before you pick it up"
