Hi Im looking for a 320 CDI AMG. Ive looked at a few but i am strugleing t see much difference between a normal cld and one with a AMG kit on !!! Its hard when searching because lots say amg but only have the wheels etc. Can someone point out the differences on a AMG bodied car please !
I think in terms of AMG body kits, sometimes it's a bit varied as to what you get.
I've got a 2004 SL500 'AMG', which got the original owner the AMG alloys, rear lights and a slightly different rear bumper to standard. It didn't get the AMG diffuser however, nor the side skirts, illuminated sills or the front air dam.
As regards a CLS, I'm afraid I have no idea! HTH.

From memory all it adds is modified front and rear bumpers / aprons, and possibly different sill mouldings. It is not as large a contrast with the standard fitments as on some other Mercs. If you go for bi-xenon headlights, again from memory, I think you lose the intelligent lighting. It was quite a pricey option when I bought mine so didn't feel it was justified.

I recentley sold simular car. It is a VERY expensive option from new, the receipt I had showed something like £4,900 for the AMG kit and a further £1,800 for the wheels.
As mentioned I think it includes bumpers, sideskirts & exhaust tips. It transforms the look of the car if you ask me, you need to see a normal one and an AMG one side by side to see just how different they look!.
