Brabus sports suspension - well worth it

Always found the AMG sports suspension on my CLK500 cab disappointing so have fitted Brabus sports suspension instead.

If anyone is thinking about doing it then do so. It improves the handling by a good amount without making the ride unbearable. Its relatively cheap too and if if it stops you selling your car then its really very good value! All you guys with big engined C/CLK/SLK's take a look.

What sort of costs were involved ??

£1395 fitted incl VAT and geometry and I have the old springs and shocks in the shed in case I want to go back to them! You may get it a bit cheaper but there's not much choice of suppliers up north.

Cheers Andrew, just done 1200 miles in Ireland and felt the need to "Stiffen" things up a little at front "n" back...

Best of luck with it. I thought it was cheap enough to try and see. Anything which stops me buying an M3 cab has to encouraged!

The parts took a few weeks to come though.
