need a cat on a slk320

Can anybody recommend where i buy a Cat for me SLK320 or get one fitted and a good indy garage near North London

You'll likely need a pair I'm afraid, they normally go together.

I had mine replaced with 'sport cats' by a local exhaust fabricator, wasn't cheap at about £450, but still cheaper than a merc replacement system.

If its just the rears and they are rattling, just cut the cats out.

Cut hole with grinder, smash out catalyst, weld plate back on.

Job done, sounds liitle better, runs better, still passes mot, and does not put light on due to no o2 sensors after secondary cats.

It's going back a few years now, mine was stolen 5 years ago!

Pretty much any decent exhaust place will be able to do it though, or, the chap above has the right idea too.

I'm assuming it's just the 'rattly cat' problem that happens on all of these?
