SLS - am I missing something?

Just taken a test drive after selling an SL63AMG. Previous cars included Astons.
Once you get inside and forget the gullwing doors which are not for me the most important part of the car I am left underwelmed. Good yes, special and worth £180k with options, I am not convinced.
Might be controversial on an MB forum, but I would take 2 SL AMGs for the same money even if one woul be a year old. or a Ferrari California and a used E class estate.

Absolutely with you, I have an slk AMG which I consider a GT compared to what Im used to but have to say AMG isnt going down a road I like much and the sls is really underwhelming. The further they move to hadrcore the less convincing they become vs the competition.

I had the option to get one of the first ones into the UK, but agree, just couldn't see it at 180k.

I will definitely get one at some point, but will wait until sub-100k as I think thats where the real value is to me.
