Just thought some of you may find this of interest. This is a daily driver 72,000 mile 500 sl in black. Hope you enjoy:

When I do a "proper" job on my SL it usually takes me about 3 days working on it on and off (obviously I'm not a professional, but then again I don't think I could afford to pay 60 hours labour).
As you state on you video it comprises many many coats of wax and sealers (after a clay bar to start) although I use Auto Glym (thanks to Halfords 2 for 1 on Hi-Def wax last year I have a fair supply
)
Result is excellent - most people seem to think the car is a lot older than it's 8 years/70K
