Reg Plate SLR 1T - What's it worth?
Discussion
difficult one, the slr is first which increases value and total letters/digits is only 5 which is also more valuable, the t on the end I think is less value then if there were just numbers (like 11 for example), in my experience prices are over-inflated in general as people are never in any rush to sell with ever increasing no's of cars they assume value will go up,
value i reckon 5-10k, 5k is they actually wanted to sell and needed money quickly as limited market for it, only someone with an slr or with intials 'SLR' would buy it i suppose and DVLA are always releasing new regs which dilutes things and reduces prices as has the recession, i wonder if they bought the plate before the slr existed (I assume they must have!
)
Also why do they have it on a clio?

yeh i understand - forgot about the slr-type camera, still lucky to have it i suppose, i reckon the plate is probably worth more than the car
, great thing about reg plates is you can advertise them free and see what sort of interest develops.
I diddnt' know that - Where would be a good place to advertise?

Just google personalised reg plates, you can use newreg.co.uk, carreg.co.uk, ebay, etc etc, I think they just charge commission if a sale was agreed, but I have seen some of the plates on there been advertised for years, Gassing Station | Mercedes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
