I need a towing eye for my w210. I've been looking on ebay for some time and have had no luck. Does anybody know if a towing eye from other cars will fit?
Are they universal? manufacturer specific? or model specific?
Standard thread. Best to get a forged one rather than cut from plate or fabricated. Should be a flange at top of thread so it screws in to a definate stop.
