Mercedes Specialist near Newhaven?

I've been to see a Mercedes near Newhaven on the south coast, I'd like to buy it and have agreed a price but I need a second opinion on a noise the engine makes at idle when hot.

Its a 1999 V8 4.3ltr.

Its a trade sale, I'd like to ask the dealer to take it somewhere for a second opinion.

Who is there near Newhaven?

Not very close, but Nigel Scrace in Tunbridge Wells comes recommended on a couple of sites.

I guess he might travel if you paid him for his time - it's a nice drive down and back or regular buses from TW to Lewes, then a short train ride.

While in Newhaven, don't forget to stop at the fishermans co-op for fresh fish - close to swing bridge on the west side of the river.
