Service Book Missing

Hi,I am looking at a 58 SLK at a non-MB dealership.

They seem to have mislaid the service book.

Being new to MB, I presume I should expect to see a service book,or is it all done digitally on MB's computers?

Will I be able to phone an MB dealership and obtain the service history? It has very low miles so I guess it only would be due 2 annual services.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

PS I have asked Lee for specific info but would appreciate any advice in case can't get back to me for while.

I wouldn't worry, as far as I'm aware new MBs don't come with a service book any more as all the records are held centrally on the computer. If you ask them they should be able to provide a print out of any services completed

My E220 is an 08, and there is no service book, all digital/computerised, I'd assume a 58 SLK would be the same?

It was serviced at Jacksons in Bournemouth on 12.08.2009 @1,930mls

pop me an email and i'll send you a Hard copy to Print.
