SL600 with rear facing camera

Having seen another member attaching one of the small key-fob shaped cameras to the back of their C63 estate, I took the plunge and ordered one for myself. Had a quick play with it today and this is what it came up like. Not bad considering the relatively low price of the camera!

Sounds awesome. Did you flip the video? as TEXACO is backwards.

Yes. The SL has no flat upward facing surface on the rear (apart from the bootlid, but there would probably be alot of wind noise) so I attached it to the number plate recess next to one of the number plate lights hence why it had to be flipped.

Has the car got an aftermarket exhaust on it? It does sound good, I thought the 600sl had really quiet pipes on it

The car is 100% standard. The noise is surprising, maybe due to the low quality camera.

The 600 is quiet generally speaking, but when your foot is floored, it does make a fair bit of noise!
