Retrofit Rear Seats in E Class Estate

Hi,

Does anyone know of a specialist that fits or has had the rear facing seats fitted in an E class estate?
Its a 2005 E55 AMG and I would like to have them fitted but need to find some prices.....

The main dealer will do it for you; any specialist ought to be able to do it at a cheaper labour rate. I did it to my w124. It's not that difficult, but you do need to make sure you have all of the parts and buying these from the dealer is likely to be prohibitive.

Thanks, has anyone on here done it to a W211?
I have spoken to Merecdes and they were really not very helpful at all.....
Also the local specialist was not very keen on giving it a go...

Have you seen inside a 7 seat W211, I've had one as a courtesy car and whilst the seat base and back sections 'may' be reasonably interchangeable with the storage compartment/hatches, from memory the seat belts for the 6th and 7th seats are bolted into the body of the car at the side of the boot compartment and on the C pillar, might be tricky to do this as an aftermarket fit?

Luxury 7 used to do these conversions using aftermarket parts but I believe they are no more. If anyone knows a source please let me know because I get asked regularly

Correct. But holes are all present in the body shell. It is "just" a matter of removing various trims and adding various covers. The set up is essentially the same on all cars from the s123 to the new s212.
