Hello all

I have just come into the world of SL 129 ownership, having bought a beautiful 1995 SL500

I am now after a hardtop for it. Ideally a green one, but colour isnt a huge issue as I can respray

Anyone got a surplus 'top they would like to sell me?

Cheers

don't forget that they have interior trim that matches the car, which would be more expenisve to change than respraying, so try to find one that matches!

I'm pretty sure I've seem them a good cheaper than that.......panoramic is best, £900 to £1600 is the extremes in range that I've seen, though nothing under a grand in the last couple of years, probably around £1200. Very good chance you'll get your money back on a panny.

Hi guys

Not interested in a Panoramic as the car is a 3rd car toy and I cant justify the outlay of over £1000 on a roof!

Posted here as I have seen the hardtops on Ebay but the prices seems ambitious - £450 on a roof which is the wrong colour seems steep. Was hoping for either a £100 roof to respray or the correct colour for up to £400

Any more ideas? Mercedes specialists?

Anyone on Pistonheads with a roof they dont need??

Cheers
