alfa romeo 2600 touring spider, things to look for

Hello chaps,
I am going to look at a 2600 touring spider 1963 tomorrow with, and for a mate.I would like to know what things to look for, to judge how much restoration is involved. As it looks like there is quite a bit of work to do on it, I would like to hit the ground running, with a bit of information.
