As per title, really. He's seen one in the classifieds on PH, which is beautifully looked after but modded. 300 bhp through 2004 fwd chassis tech sounds like a date with a hedge to me. This particular car has uprated suspension and LSD, but still... He has a 2.0 TS 156 veloce currently and loves it dearly. Obviously it's a bit of a jump performance-wise, but how extreme will this car be? I had a Fiat coupe 20vt with about 240 bhp and sometimes felt that was a bit much. He had a go in that and loved it. Any advice welcome.

Have you got a link to the advert, has it had a Q2 fitted.
I have driven my friends 147GTA....with a 3.7 conversion and a supercharger.........it has the Q2, drives just fine and is fantastically ballistic and wonderful.....smile

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2949832.htm. Does have Q2 fitted (LSD?). Looks lovely, but I do wonder if a standard one would be a bit more sensible? Especially with him coming from a relatively slow car.

No chance it will have 300 bhp from a remap and a stainless steel exhaust, they're 250 bhp standard.

But don't be a spoil sport and let him buy one! smile

Someone upped theirs (probably the best in the UK, incidentally!) to a 3.8 and got 280HP.

Still, looks like a decent example. Is the prison numberplate part of the deal?

I'll second that!

No way 50bhp increase from a stainless exhaust and remap.
