How many built: 1963 Fiat 1500 Vignale Coupé

Hello forum,
A mate and I share one of these, and I would really like to establish how many were built. So far I've read guesstimates of somewehere between 200 and 5000.
Any information would be most welcome.

www.howmanyleft.co.uk shows that there are 19 registered in the UK.
Doesn't help on the how many were built quesiton though.

But 19 Vignales seemed a lot, so I read more about howmanyleft. Turns out that number includes all types of Fiat 1500's, which means the much more numerous 1500 Berlina probably accounts for most.
Also there was in fact a 1500 Ghia as well. It seems that the quite complicated Fiat-diversity is not making life easy for howmanyleft.
