I picked up a beautiful black Spider today,its been 22 years since i drove a 156 sportwagen and I have to say its great to be back. I also have a little TVR Tamora to play with and my old school mk1 golf GTI cabby . My long suffering missus says the golf has to go apparently im not allowed to have three drophead cars!! she says they are not sensible. I need some excuses to give her,any ideas???

I've got an MG B roadster and an Alfa Spider. She has her own car, currently a Volvo V40, which is the practical one.
Usual excuse is that you can only drive one at a time, they're on a special insurance policy so it's cheaper to run those 3 than one new s
tey car etc.
We had a period earlier in the month where her car was off the road - she couldn't afford to pay for the MOT, the tax and my birthday present all in the same month. The Alfa was getting its annual service and a cambelt change, so the only car we had that was legal was the MG B. And it really enjoyed being used as a runaround for a week as well.
