2010 Fiat Panda 100HP Brake Discs and Pads
Discussion
Goooood Evening,
I was just wondering if the Panda is meant to have some kind of brake pad warning light?
My father has been driving the car for a long while, as I now have the BMW, and he told me last night that the brakes sounded a bit dodgy, and in a rush to get to London that evening I hopped in the car and drove down the drive and all I could hear was this crunching sound, which was obviously not great.
I didn't feel safe driving that to London so came back home from about a mile away and saw that the brake pads were so worn that they had made a groove in the disc itself. Obviously these need replacing as soon as possible, but if there is meant to be a warning light, and it didn't come on. Would I be able to get the pads done under warranty at the local Fiat dealership? As it would be a fault when the car first was built.
Any responses will be much appreciated as this needs to get sorted in the next couple of days.
Thanks
Ayman.
