Cue the comments about how Alfa dealers have nice comfy seats in their waiting areas, did not go down well!
I'm running a 140BHP Diesel version as a company car. No problems to speak of so far, just a few niggles concerning the support from the front seats and a tad too much road noise from the Tyres.
I'd have gone for the 170 Multiair if it was allowed but the CO2 rules imposed on me were too stringent even for the super efficient 1.4 TBi.
I'm sure you mate will have a ball with it, they are fine car and much more interesting than the VW derived stuff.

Went in one on the weekend, was surprised how cheap inside felt. The switches were very flimsy.
Know just what you mean, the devil is only in the detail.Liek last year on holiday i met (welsh soprano) Kathryn jenkins, few glasses of bubbly , ended in wild sex on the beach, in the hotel (lift and bedroom). Had to bin her though, have you heard her speaking voice - that welsh accent. Hell she might even pick her nose or fart in bed, not worth taking the risk.

Anyone tried the TCT version?
Alfa only started allowing orders at the beginning of October.cailean said:

What do you drive, a Phantom? The build quality is up there with the Germans.Just been to my local Alfa dealer to spec the wires - seriously impressed with the quality considering it's quite a cheap car. Loved the sporty Mito they had in and am going back for a test drive for my youngest later in the week - can't wait! Very impressed with the service as well, a changed company since my old '33.
