Hello,

Apologies if this has been done before, but I'm an Alfa noob and know little of them.

I have a 2000my Alfa 145 with the 1800cc tspark engine and the 5speed manual box.

The clutch is tired, and the box is notchy going from 1st to 2nd and vice versa.

Seen several boxes on eBay and in breakers but unsure what will fit.

Will any 1800cc tspark box fit?

Would a 2000cc box fit?

Ideally I want to source parts this week and then get it sorted ASAP all at once

Thanks in advance smile

1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 will fit, off the top of my head can't remember the ratio differences but physically they will fit

Thanks. What about other cars from the Alfa range?

I.e. 156 or 147

Angst not, search forever on ebay or just go to http://www.autolusso.co.uk/

yikes

They aint cheap.

scratchchin may give them a call and see what they can do, but parting with more than the car cost for a clutch change yikes no chance.

There are cheaper options than Autolusso...

156's and 147's use a different gear sletion mechanism so the gearboxes out of these won't work in a 145. You need a t5/spark box out of a 155 / 145 / 146 / GTV. Any engine size will fit but the gearing for any respective engine size is slightly different.

I have a spare gearbox out of a 2.0 155 if you need one.

just found this again. Sorry for delay.

I got sorted relatively locally with a "sold as seen, but 28day gurantee" 1800tspark box from the same car.

Should it be FUBAR I'll be in touch
