Blown Turbo on a 156 2.4

I have a chance of buying a 2001 2.4 td 156 sportswagon. With a blown turbo.
Has anyone replaced one before ? Is it worth doing from a resale point of veiw. (car price is about £500 ).
135,000 miles on clock and full black leather.
I am at home doing nothing and not earning ,so thought this may bring in a penny or 2.

They arent going for that much anyway. I was looking at a 03 plate with 13ok. It went for 1300. If you can do it cheap you may make a couple of hundred?
