Looks a good example, these seem to be valued more on condition and history rather than age/mileage which is a sure sign that they are on the cusp of classic status.
My pet hate though is when people say in their ads, 'best colour combination', for the advertiser yes, but not necessarily for everyone else. Personally I'd go for Meteor or was it Eclipse Grey with red leather, love Lightning Blue but it shows every mark and you can forget Alfa Red (Pink) on a GTV unless you get it resprayed and are willing to polish it every weekend!

A beaut! Has had a lot of the good stuff done to it so worth paying that bit more than going rate. How much did you pay?;)
I bought this, which was in the colour combo I wanted, a couple of months ago - black with red style interior.....

It wasn't perfect but got it at a price where I'd have the budget to get a few things done , eg: sorting out paintwork, new brakes, new suspension and looking at the GTA clutch and flywheel option next . Interestingly AHM have quoted £1100 for this whereas Autolusso in Bournemouth have quoted £600 for the same work
Might get the quaife fitted as well....then I really must stop spending money on it...!
Enjoy!

I paid asking price, he has the trailing arms in the boot (with the poly bushes) but didn't want to push him to undertake the work as he threw in all the ICE (head unit, Sub and amp) which wasn't included in the ad.
Was worth it for the burst of sound as he came across the car park towards me.
Can't wait to pick it up.

I'd be really interested to hear your experiences of ownership...I'm quietly looking to add one to the driveway as I think they look massive VFM and with a decent exhaust/decat must sound like a mini Ferrari! I also think they are a stunning shape & likely to be a future classic - supply of well looked after cars is looking scarce & I understand how you justified buying such a well sorted example! They are very much an under rated car on the road. Happy motoring

I'll get some more miles under the belt so to speak in this one and would be happy to answer any questions. A good read through the Alfaowner site helped me phenomenally when it came to deciding, that and I've had a Twinspark GTV for 5 years now.
Oh and the sound under load is pretty special.
