Fiat Supermirafiori 2.0 fiat twincam

Hi all, Me and a friend have been given a fiat Supermirafiori with the 2.0 twincam engine, Brilliant we thought, went to have a look and i opened one of the doors,put my foot on the sill to lean in and the car has literally fallen in half that side!!

Are we best off trying to restore it mechanically or what we would like to do, turn it into a buggy type thing and rebuild all the rotten bits with just box section and thin sheet?

These one of my all time favourite hot saloons. Sadly most of have scrapped due to terminal rust and yours sound like its heading towards the same fate i'm afraid but post a couple of pics up anyway.

I doubt you could turn it into a buggy as there is no separate chassis and rust will be everywhere but i am sure others will know more about that side of things than me.
