Would a 1.6 miles daily round trip ruin a 1.4/1.6 petrol Giulietta engine? I know it is not healthy in the first place but, we have been using a KA mk1 for the past 2 years with no issues.

Any thought welcome

No worse than for any other car. If you are only driving 0.8 of a mile each way why not just.......

walk!

If the 8 miles a week are supplemented at the weekend by longer journeys then dont worry about it. It may be less economical than you expect on those short journeys. How long would you keep it for?

At least 3 years.hoping to get good mpg over the long journey, not too worry on the daily mpg.
We always had 2 cars in the family, went to see a GT for my self and the wife made the good point that one car would be more economical in the long run (her car needs replacing too) and the Giulietta should keep both of us happy, going for a test drive on Saturday hoping to find that the engine has enough fun factor.

I'd like to know your thoughts after the test drive too. I know what I think but be curious to hear what you think :-)

with all you done to the GT 4400 seems a crazy price, it should have already sold!
