Moving from Lexus to Fiat Abarth 500 Essesse
Discussion
After 9 years of various Lexi I've decided the way to recapture my youth is to buy a Abarth.
Got it from the PH classified 2010 car with 2400 miles only ....was sellers 5th car.
As you'd expect it still smells like new and is immaculate.
Enjoying the different style of driving and actually feel like I'm involved in the process of driving.
Will be changing the suspension as all the reviews were right in that the car is overdamped at the back so I'll be fitting some Vogtland coilovers shortly. Then will look to fit a new down pipe with 200 cell sports cat which I'll join up to standard system as I'm too old for too much noise :-(.

Car looks lovely, I was going to compo grey Abarth, however I wanted the Sabelt seats, so it had to be bn white!!
Suspension in general is naff, plus you have the SS, so it's pretty harsh, (more so than coilovers). Regarding your choice in vogtland coilovers, I may be wrong but they are only available for the USA Abarth 500 which is actually on a different chassis. For the European model, vogtland have only developed springs.
Lots Of the owners i know use the Bilsteins, but they don't look great after a year or so's use. So I'm purchasing KW V1 inox coilovers for mine.
