Fiat 500 gearlever gaiter fix & Panda gaiter going free

My gearlever gaiter retaining ring has been broken for ages, and I finally got round to replacing it. Fiat wanted £60+vat because they only sell the full assembly including replacement gaiter, but a 2nd hand Panda retaining ring from ebay has fitted fine to my 100hp with 6 speed box.

Worth knowing if anyone else experiences what I believe is a fairly frequent problem.

I'm now left with a spare grey gaiter from a 54 on panda plus the 5 speed gearknob to match, which I would be happy to send to anyone who needs a replacement, free of charge of course (to a UK address only).

Did the gaiter ring fit ok ? .. I have the same problem on my girlfriends 500 1.2 lounge
