Morning all.

Mrs Twin Turbo's 156 Sportwagen Veloce (on of '51 plate) has a charcoal leather interior which looks great. However, after giving it the once over with the Auto Glym leather cleaner/treatment stuff I use on the interior of my 300ZX, I've noticed the little bit of leather on the doors (passenger side in particular) has gone white-ish again). Despite a good buffing(!), it isn't getting any better. The rest of the leather came up a treat.

You're probably going to say this stuff isn't leather now.....but it looks like it.

Any advice, before I start on it in earnest with soap 'n water?

Cheers

I take it that you have the Momo leather interior?

I've just bought an Alfa 156 with the momo leather that was in need of cleaning. The seats are ok post clean, but similar problem with the door inserts, so would be curious to know.

Door trims are the same whether Momo or Recaro leather is fitted. As far as I know, the door trims are NOT leather and regular interior cleaner should be used.

I had a red momo leather interior, and the door cards were definately red leather, cleaned up a treat with autoglym leather cleaner.
