Hi, looking at buying a 3-door warm/hot hatchback to replace my trusty old Punto and have narrowed my choice down to either a Abarth Punto Evo or Alfa Mito Cloverleaf.

Like the look of both and specification is very similar too. The Punto has the lower list price but no discounting appears to be on offer which brings the two cars into the same price range. Looking at new or pre-reg.

Any feedback/owners experiences on the two cars ?

They are the same car underneath mate, if they are the same sort of price its a choice of which you prefer the look/interior of.

Id go for the Abarth personally

The Abarth is a fine car but the Mito has synaptic dampers which give a far superior ride quality, firming up to avoid roll, squat, and dive when you start to press on.

Abarth! I have one and I like it a lot. I found the interior of the Mito a little 'chintzy' with the tacky sparkly gearknob etc, but the interior of the Punto really does look classy with great materials. Same engine, just a few BHP less on the Punto I believe. Both are ultra rare which is a nice thing.

Also thinking the Abarth will be the one over the Alfa. Really nice to drive on the short test I had and I prefer the looks too, especially on the inside. Shame my nearest dealer is only interested in selling at full list price though frown
