156 JTDM 150 gear knob replacement...
Discussion
Not sure that's right mate. If it's a lift reverse in a 156 it's glued on.
I have one sitting to be swapped over on my 156.
Procedure is slide the gaitor down, put a plastic bag over the gear knob, tie it at the bottom. This stops you loosing the spring when the gear knob comes off. Hit the gearknob base upward with a rubber mallet going round all sides. It will eventually come free. A hair dryer may help soften the old adhesive. There is no nut.
Put your new one on using a few drops of superglue.
