Not got one but want one.

Fantastic gearbox, very smooth althought does tend to over rev if driven in auto in dynamic mode. Seamless shifts up and down, possibly the best gearbox of its type in a mainstream car with the possible exception of the VAG DSG box.

Suits the Giulietta more than the Mito.

Have a Giulietta MA 170 TCT - smooth, quick, easy to drive in traffic & great fun in Dynamic mode

Got the MiTo 1.4MA TCT.
Done 16,000miles in and love it. Bimbling round town in auto is fine, no problems.
As mentioned, Auto & Dynamic dont mix very well, But in manual & Dynamic its great especially if you have the paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

Dynamic on the G is fab in full auto; especially when pulling off from a traffic light grand prix ;}

I agree, having the option to upshift early rather than wait until the auto does it at 5-6,000rpm is a bonus tho' & the paddles are a must

its the down changes in Auto & D which it seems to mess up. Be interesting now that my MiTo has had a firmware update to the gearbox. Changes in Manual, up & down feel loads better. Not tried it in Auto & Dynamic yet.

Easy.

Keep it in auto and just change up using the lever/paddles. TCT hangs on longer to the gear the harder you excelorate.

Noticed that since the firmware update, its not as keen to get into 1st gear as quickly at low speeds now which is nice.

Having picked up my G today I can confirm my experiences are the same as yours.

I've posted pics in 'readers cars' if anyone is interested.
