I drove past one on the M25 last night and I was shocked how small it looked in the dark next to my C4.

Was it an orange one heading west towards the A3 junction? If so, was me on the way back from DTR Sports. It is a very small car!

I compared it to a Fiesta as the Barchetta has gone into the garage ,the Fiesta is slumming it out

in the road.

I had no idea what size the Fiat is so looked it up.It's 4cm less wide and 2mm shorter than

Fiesta .

My garage is so stupidly small i have to take 2 swings to get in as the steering wheel is on the

"wrong" side and i can't get out next to a wall if i reverse in smile

That's my car! Here's a picture of it this afternoon looking a little shinier. I've had it since 1999 and it still puts a smile on my face every time a drive it. How are you getting on with yours?

Nicesmile

Had mine since December 1st.

Had to go back last Saturday as the speedo wasn't working on Monday 3rd .

Chris ,the helpful technician took out the clocks did some soldering and I was on the way

in 45 minutes.

One other thing was when i filled the car up after leaving DTR on 1st a bloke asked me about it

[he knew what it was]and i had owned the car about 1/2 hour.

I am used to that with the Cosworth too so don't mind a quick chat with an enthusiast.

Nice to see you have owned yours for such a long time,i have never kept a car that longsmile

I've been stopped many a time and asked about it. People do seem to really like them.

Yours looks like a really nice example. Mine has never broken down in all the time I've had it - very reliable little cars in my experience (although parts do seem to wear out quickly). The reason I've kept mine so long is that I just can't bring myself to part with it - it's a little personality and has become part of the family..
