A question out of curiousity more than anything. Well, i'm thinking of changing cars to be honest.

How do you like your Bravos? How old are they and how many miles have you clocked up? Any big problems?

I have a 2 litre sport FYI.

We had a 1.4 TJet Sport up until the start of this month. It was one of the very early cars (registered to Fiat in June 2007) which we bought in July '08 with less than 6,000 miles on the clock. The car was sold at the start of this month (replaced with a 159 Ti Sportwagon as we needed more boot space) with just under 40k on the clock so not big mileage.

In the 4.5 years we owned the car it gave very little bother (small coolant leak fixed by a small bolt and a faulty anti-pinch sensor on the passenger side electric window replaced under warranty).
Put new discs and pads on at the start of the year, timing belt, etc. done in the summer. Only thing was that it broke a front spring days before we sold it and the Sport springs are relatively expensive. It was actually the bottom section of the coil broke so the car was still driveable until I got the front springs replaced.

Overall it was a great wee car although not quite as much fun to drive as the Alfas I've owned but certainly seemed better built and gave fewer problems.

I did 80k in just over 3 years in the Bravo I had (2008 1.9 150bhp diesel). Dual mass flywheel failed when nearly new, fixed under warranty and never a moments' bother since. Had my reservations about all those electric gadgets but no problems ever came. Was gutted to replace it (co. car so no choice!), loved that car!

Considering getting a 1.4 Bravo as a second car for 'er indoors. 2008 model for £3900. Another other owner experiences would be helpful

I bought a Marea Estate (1.6 SX)...cheap part-ex car, and ended up using it for work

Did about 65,000 miles in it in a couple of years and it never missed a beat.

Well-impressed. smile

Wish I'd kept it now !
