I am picking up a new 500 Abarth at the weekend. It is the standard car albeit with the 17" alloys and the sound upgrade.

Rather than pay ££££ for the essesse package, i am just interested in a fruitier sounding exhaust and a remap to c180-190bhp.

any recommendations please?

We had a TMC tuning box on ours and it made a big difference to the power, only thing to note with that is that the boost gauge doesn't read as accurate after fitting, small price to pay given the increase though.

Oh yeah, and the Monza bi modal exhaust was cloud9

fit a turbo back exhaust with sports cat........change suspension to coilovers.......I'd steer clear of TMC box and fit a proper boost controller like a Gizzmo which also comes with a FCD which will overide the ECU boost overide (this is what the TMC box does but more crudely) Best to set the Gizzmo up on a RR though

Where can I buy this gizmo stuff? The basic car is fun but could do with some more ponies!

Has anyone seen a 500 with integrale style alloys on it? Any interest? Pic on this thread of the wheels:

I was thinking of importing some if anyone was seriously interested.

Monza record exhaust is the ticket. Not normally into quad exhausts on 4 pots, but this looks rather nice and sounds wonderful

Yeh sounds amazing but I think id go for a custom exhaust made locally, should be a lot cheaper and your supporting your local garage!

£770 + VAT for Compomotives, the ones I saw were much better, Compos are a bit tacky (IMO).

Around £1300 for 4 inc VAT and shipping to UK, I think they are 17 x 8" and a copy of the Speedline wheel used on the Abarth integrales (which are around £2200 a set).
Available in Silver, White, Anthracite, Matt Black and Titanium.
