I am trying to sort a test drive of a Panda with auto box and get details of the iDeal finance offer.

The website is slow, incomplete and extremely buggy. The 'contact us' doesn't work. The telephone number is a weird 00800 which doesn't work from the office. The finance calculator is out of action.

The dealers don't have any automatics to test.

Customer service know nothing about the iDeal finance and have given me three incorrect numbers s
o far (financial services who don't do this deal, a wrong number and Fiat insurance. )

All I want is to test drive an auto and to discuss what iDeal covers and how flexible it is.

This seems impossible.

I'm seeing a dealer Saturday but only to test a manual and I wanted to have finance figures to hand - or at least know I can afford the car!

Buy something else, it'll lose aload of money and the dealers are generally rubbish, which is why we couldn't wait to see the back of our Grande Punto a few years ago.

You'll have difficulty finding an auto at a dealer, simply because there's not enough demand for them to make it worthwhile running one as a demonstator.

I'd be happy to email finance figures through to you, just drop me a PM if you're still in the market and I'll make a start on it when I get back into the dealership on Thursday.
