Hi Guys I would appreciate your help, I'm after a GTV Twin-spark Phase 2 with less than 90k on the clock, Black with either black or tan leather and teledial wheels, anyone know of any for sale or someone who would consider a sale?
I've checked on the trader and the classifieds on here but can't find a straight car. Also looked at the 2002 on ebay with 63k on the clock this morning but its had a dodgy respray and the engine oil cap was full of mayo, the 3rd black car i seen over the past 2 months! Didn't realise it would be so hard to find the right car, thanks in advance!

Have you looked on alfaowner.com? They've got their own classifieds section.

Don't be too picky about the seats, they can be easily swapped. Be patient, most GTVs are over 10 years old so finding one in good condition with less than 90k on it, even in a not uncommon colour, will take a while unless you get lucky.

Good luck in your search! You probably already know this but make sure you get one with cambelt and water pump change done recently.

The seller says the cambelt and water pump was done i July. My only concern at the moment is that he only has the one key, red key with black rubber insert, no spare or master key.

Make sure you have reciepts for the work as I viewed a few where the seller said the cambelt was done and got there to find no paperwork and a rattly engine, lol.

Hmm, one key? Well, my 1997 GTV V6 only had one key (Just a user key with remote locking etc) so I went to Timpsons and had a replacement made up for £35. Worked perfectly. As long as you ALWAYS keep the spare somewhere safe you 'shouldn't' have a problem as if you lose one you have a back up. Just keep making a copy every time you lose one, lol

I don't think that GTV's relied upon a main MASTER key these days?
