Still an impressive little car
That's better than my ML as I learnt to my cost in february.

Currently working on SWMBO's parents who don't need their defender anymore (was a towcar for her dads 30ft wooden boat) and needs proper rear seats to carry their grandkids around - the diesel one has apparently a decent towing capability for a small car (enough for a dinghy) - they need the 4x4 as they live in Cumbria.
You do see a fair few of the older ones running around up there cracking little machines.
I've read all the reviews and watched all the vids on youtube and i cannot believe how capable the car is. I originally wanted a Dacia Duster, but it sound like a bag of nails and doesn't have anywhere near the character of the Panda.
Having come from 8 years TVR ownership, then a year with a X5 4.6iS, i dont know if it will be fast enough for me - will need to try it out. I have a 2 year old now and dont have the opportunity to drive fast anymore anyway.
(i have seen the twinair can be remapped to 100bhp ish
)
These are not about speed though. I absolutely love the idea of a rugged little car that can go anywhere in any condition.
Look forward you reading your comments when you get your cars

Guy on the fiat forum went for cbc but reckons it has delayed his order by a month or 2....he's still waiting.
What do people think of ornage? Haven't see one in the flesh....I guess dealers are too scared to chance stockinbg one.
Don't worry about the speed, I've clocked over 25k in 2 years in the last shape 1.2 60 hp one and it has enough character and pep to make you not notice the lack of outright speed. Jumping between it and a c63 amg and I don't find the panda 4x4 slow.

The green is my favourite colour! Have you had any options on the vehicle, the spare wheel at £50 seems a no brainer to me.
Also has anyone gone for Fiat's new City Brake Control its a £250 option.

I seem to remember having to pay an extra 50quid for a 3rd rear seatbelt and another 250 for heated front screen and seats, etc etc. And no discounts, imagine buying a Fiat and not getting a discount. And i had to wait 8-10 weeks for it to be built. It must be in demand !Also has anyone gone for Fiat's new City Brake Control its a £250 option.

Can I ask what spec and options you went for? seawise said:
Twinair petrol - Tuscany green metallic, sand/olive cloth with olive dash - winter pack (heated seats and screen) - split fold rear seat pack with 3rd seatbelt - leather steering wheel and gear knob - total cost £14,855 list.
The earthy colours on the 4X4 are by far the best colours! I hope it's looked after you well today with this snow.apologies for where the link is from but James Martin likes the Panda
