All I can say is I have one and love it - albeit mine is the diseasel 170. A proper head turner in white (would have been my first choice but took Etna black instead)
Go for it - it's a beast when you give it the beans in D mode

I've got the 170 JTDM TCT Veloce which is also in white. My tips would be to get a car with leather as the seats are far more comfortable, rear vision is poor so I would also recommend parking sensors.

Not a lot to worry about. They are prone to the odd rattle from the dash and speaker area, look out for tyre wear. The fuel flap is a bit flimsy and can get stuck. Finally. With the manual cars the gear knob is made of cheese.

I have just bought a multiair Sportiva and I like it a lot, it is far better built than the Honda Civic I had before with no rattles and squeaks. It is decently quick, handles and rides well despite the 18" wheels and is good fun. Mine is white with red leather and looks lovely.
The only downsides so far are a lack of steering feel and rather disappointing fuel economy but this should improve as the car is run in.

Price wise seems like a good deal, I've paid a bit less for a 20k miles 7 months ago.
Currently averaging 33mpg on short journeys and 36 on M'way, don't except anything near the figures given by Alfa.

I needed a cheapish sensible car and this does the job, my main issue with it are the seats which are as flat as your dinner table, however, I've heard that the full leather seats are much better. I wouldn't considering a monster on D mode but it is centennially more fun as give you a quick throttle response, something that I did not consider at the time of purchase was the TCT which I would probably look into now. Most cars suffer form the usual Alfa creeks and squiks but nothing that as been an issue to me as yet.
go for s good test drive or 2 and budget allows consider a Quadrifoglio too
