It seems you can not fit 159 wheels on a 156? I have had some misfortune with a few holes in the road and it seemed to make sense to change all four wheels instead of the two i busted. But no it seams they dont fit the 5 holes are further apart.
Is this the case or have i been sold some dud wheels?

You didn't buy dud wheels. The 159 has a different stud pattern to the 156.

Have you tried wobble bolts? I know they work on aftermarket wheels with differing stud patterns but not sure about manufacturer wheels.

No problem and good luck. Actually, I've seen a vid on YouTube showing a 147 GTA with 19" 159Ti wheels so there must be a way.

159/Brera etc have 5x108 PCD, 156/147 are 5x98 PCD, so yes the bolts are further apart on the 159s. It's possible to buy replica Ti Alloys in 19" with the 5x98 PCD, these are what you will have seen on the 147.

just a thought can you change the hub on the 156 to suit the wheels?

Didn't realise that. Saying that, I'm sure the guy who posted the video said he had used or made some adapters for the wheels.

I'm pretty sure the 159 uses 5x110 - same as the Fiat Croma, most Opel/Vauxhall models (not the Insignia mind) and Saab models.
