Hi Guys,

Can anyone give me their best guess as to what has caused the shocking tyre wear on the Twin Air Plus.

Car has done just under 15,500 miles.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But I'm pretty sure 15k is pretty good for a set of front tyres?

Not for a car with a 0.8 ltr engine it's not.

Had better tyre life (just) out of a Clio 197 fitted with the same Continental Tyres

Looks perfectly reasonable to me.

Try a TVR and reassess your definition of shocking.

We had a Tamora, it's tyre wear wasn't too bad, sadly they built the roof not square smile

Anyway the Continentals have been replaced this afternoon, fitter said there didn't appear to be anything wrong and they had just worn. Probably could have got 16,000-16,500 miles out of them at a push, but that would have been about it.

Having driven these before, the it is quite a peppy engine that would probably chew through tyres if driven hard.

The wear looks even, perhaps its the model of tyre?
