On the lookout for a red Brera SV6...but...

Can anyone advise on the situation with the paintwork? I looked at a red 2.2 over the weekend, it was an 2008 with 30k on it, had already been repainted at the front and wasn't looking the best.

Any advice on this front? Has anyone gone with paintshield or any protective covers? If so, which have you covered?

And if anyone is planning to sell soon...let me know Difficult to track down the red!
