Two Giulias, 50 years apart!
Discussion
Finally managed to photograph my two cars together:

I've had the older one about 5 years now. 1966 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce. Was Registered Jan'67.
Two great Alfa's that are 50 years apart!
Now have the Quadrifoglio too and I'm loving it!
So nice to drive something exciting everyday. I liked my previous BMW but this is something else!
They both have that sense of occasion, looks, and the way they drive backs that up too, not something you can say about all Alfas.
The old one has a twin spark and 155bhp on throttle bodies, enough to have fun with when it weights roughly a tonne.

Thanks guys
The new car is such a pleasure day to day, so much comfort but the performance also takes your breath away. Rapid in a straight line, but I'm just amazed at the sheer immidiacy and composure it has on a twisty road. It makes the german opposition feel blunt in comparison!

That is a great picture, and a great couple of cars to own.
I am lusting after a Guilia at the moment, especially the QV, but doing 20,000+ miles per year means that I have no chance. I might have to settle for a Veloce and wait until a change of job for the QV but I can't stop thinking about them!
My 1970 Lotus Elan +2 gives me some pleasure in the meantime.
