The Alfa 159 H7 headlamp clip is a prime example of a ping-fukit!
I was fettling the headlamps to switch them to Euro mode and had removed the bulb to facilitate access only for the retaining spring to ping out and disappear down somewhere, never to be seen again.
Fortunately, it appears that (according to some googling) it's the same part as used on Smarts, so I've ordered a couple of A0009938607
