Don't believe I've seen a thread for this event - worth going to?

Yes,best Italian car show of the year.

Joint best with Festiaval Italia at Brands Hatch later on in summer.

Weather looks good for this weekend too.

Agree with that Festival Italia at Brands is a cracking event.

If you've not been before I'd say yes, however......

I'm not bothering this year as it was really poor last year, horrendous queues to get in, non existent organisation on site and cars just thrown anywhere rather than the usual marque parking areas. Been going for literally years but very much put off Auto Italia, get my fix at the Alton Italian Car Breakfast meets.

The Campbell Gate queues can be dreadful, unless you get there early. This year, for those who arrive in one, there's a dedicated Alfa Romeo access, via The Heights.. I like to get there early as they do a rather good breakfast in the café.: cool:

A nightmare traffic wise unless you get there at say 8am. But then you have to wait ages for any of the actual cars you want to see to arrive!

I've got an unrelated MOT in the morning, so I'd be unlikely to get there before say 13:00 at the best...

Haven't been to before, is there much point arriving this late?

Last year was ridiculous traffic wise, I got to the main road roundabout at about 9, didn't actually park up until about 10:30. Hopefully with the new dedicated entrance for Alfa's and Abarth's it should be better...
