My brand new 124 has a seized valve, shut.
Don't get the crackles & pops like it should, so warranty here we come.
Lie on your back under back of car you will see a spring connected to a lever, this should open & close freely, mine for some reason is rusted up.
Salty spray at port probably?

Standard issue with the Monza, most of us wire them open as it will happen on your warranty replacement.

Very common issue - see here http://www.abarthownersclub.com/forum/index.php?to...
Also, if you haven't already done so, then you might want to do these simple mods to the infotainment system http://www.abarthownersclub.com/forum/index.php?to...
enjoy the car - I love mine (had it for nearly 18 months now)

Did you buy a coffee?
How many updates did you install from that link that gets sent?

I didn't 'buy a Coffee', no..! (I had forgotten that bit, so I edited this when I re-read it....!)
I did the speedo app - new link to an image that exists https://21stcenturyfiat124spider.files.wordpress.c...
Also removed the 'speed related touch screen feature' to enable the touchscreen to work at any speeds.
(As you may have guessed by the username, it was my post on the other forum link)

Where did you get the speedo file from & how easy to change the touch screen.
That previous link is very long as covers previous couple of years?

Looks like the only way to get the download is now via the 'donate page'.
This wasn't the case when I did mine (that was 18 months ago).
I'd happily donate to him, though.
Here's a vid from someone explaining what to do after the download - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnjPmEkxi2I
(Although someone in the comments section has said it may not work with the 2018 firmware version).
It's up to you.

Check the version of the software on your infotainment system - i picked up a brand new Abarth 124 yesterday and the software version is still low enough for the tweaks to work. thats next weekends job sorted!
